Donald Trump Jr. and his brother Eric have filed a lawsuit against the campaign alleging that the campaign is illegally colluding with the Russians to try to elect Trump in the 2020 election.
In the complaint, Donald Jr. alleges that his brother-in to-be “unfairly and maliciously maligned, defamed, and defamed” Trump and “misled, deceived, misled, and destroyed” the public, and called the Trump campaign’s behavior “unfavorable to the United States of America.”
The lawsuit says that Trump’s presidential campaign “engaged in a concerted effort to undermine and defame the President and elect Donald J. Trump as the President of the United State of America,” according to the Washington Post.
Donald Jr. claims in the lawsuit that his mother, who died in 2016, was a “strategist, activist, and activist,” and said her “career as a national leader has been devoted to making the country great again.”
The Trump campaign has not responded to a request for comment from The Daily Caller News Foundation.
The lawsuit was filed Monday in a California court, but is scheduled to go before a judge next week.
The suit, which was filed by Trump Jr., Eric and his lawyer, Mark Corallo, alleges that the lawsuit “inaccurately portrays” the Trump administration and its campaign activities as being a “hostile, hostile environment to the Trump family.”
“This is simply untrue,” Corallo said in the complaint.
“The Trump administration is the victim of a hostile, hostile campaign by a foreign power intent on overthrowing the United Kingdom, replacing it with a puppet regime that will continue to oppress and subvert the United Nations, and continue to abuse its global position to harm American sovereignty and economic interests,” the lawsuit added.
In addition to the lawsuit, the Trump team has also filed a separate lawsuit in California against the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, accusing it of “misleading the court with its own documents and misleading the court about the scope of the lawsuit,” according the Washington Times.
The court documents state that Trump is seeking “to recover monetary damages” for “damage to the plaintiff’s reputation and reputation of the Trump Organization.”
In a statement to TheDCNF, Trump’s lawyer Mark Coralo said the lawsuit is “unfounded, without merit and without merit of any kind,” and added, “We are confident that the courts will dismiss the lawsuit against Donald Trump, and that the Trump Foundation will be vindicated.”
The complaint follows the announcement that Trump and his team have hired former FBI director James Comey as their special counsel to investigate the Trump Campaign’s alleged ties to the Russian government and Russia’s election interference.
In a letter obtained by The Daily Beast, Trump said he believes Comey’s investigation will produce “new information” about the Trump Administration’s role in colluding “with a foreign government to undermine our democratic process, discredit and undermine the candidacy of President Trump and undermine confidence in our electoral system.”
